Web Modification Log:  February - July, 2004

Mod Date Updates and Modifications
July 23, 2004
  • Updated the Kid's That Shoot Page with a new picture and story of Sam Goodrich.  He's quite the little shooter.  Grand Masters beware!
  • Added a picture of Rob and Dave Sevigny from the Bianchi Cup on the Bianchi Cup Recap Page.
  • Added two new photos to the TGO Museum.  Nyle gave us the old photo of Rob from the "Shooter Ready" video cover and another great photo of a cannon (shooting a bowling ball) at the American HandGunner World Shoot-off Championship.
  • Added a new feature to the DrillMaster Shooting Club™ page, the DMSC Member of the Month
  • Added a few new photos to the DMSC photo library
July 19, 2004
  • Posted answers to Rob's questions of the week (or, rather, month!  eeek!)  This is his busiest time of the year, so again, we apologize for not being able to respond every week.
  • Reversed the order of Rob's Answers (to the questions of the week).  Now the most current answers will be on top and you won't have to scroll down the page!
  • Scheduled two new civilian competition classes this fall.  Rob has not done a civilian class at home in many, many years.  Check out the training page for all the info!
  • Updated Rob's Calendar with the next DrillMaster Shooting Club™ Drill Of The Month Event.
July 6, 2004
  • Posted the July DOTM in the DMSC sub web site.
July 2, 2004
  • Fixed an incorrect statement in the Feb 27th Ask Rob response.  "You want the rocket to be as weak as possible if you don't have a comp, hence I prefer the use of heavy bullets, fast burn rate powders (not slow) with quick-to-peak pressure time."  Thanks, Kurt, for noticing this error.  We're glad someone's paying attention!
June 30, 2004
  • Updated Rob's Calendar page with the DMSC July event.
  • Posted more scores to the DMSC sub web site.
  • Updated the Site Contents page with more store details and a new project that is in the works.
June 25, 2004
  • Rob answered a few Questions of the week.
  • Added some new pictures to the Family Quarters page (pictures of Rob's nephew, Matt, who is on a 2-year mission in Oregon and pictures of Rob's son, Robby, who just graduated 9th in his class from Westwood High School, receiving a full scholarship to ASU!)  Rob couldn't be prouder of these two young men!
  • Added new pictures to the Kids That Shoot photo library.  Daniel, my nephew, I'm soooo sorry that it's taken so long to get some pictures of you shooting!  You're shooting great, by the way!  Keep it up!
June 21, 2004
  • Rob won the STI-American Handgunner World Shoot-Off Stock Gun Championships for the third time!  Check the Resume page for the update to his seasonal wins.  Congrats, Rob!
  • Updated the DMSC .22 Junior category rules for reloading.
  • From the Resume Page, you can access a a few more photos from Bianchi Cup and Rob's 2004 Bianchi Cup Recap,  which is basically just a few thoughts and notes from him about his match this year.
  • Posted scores in the DMSC sub web site.
  • Added Rob's new sponsor, Winchester, to the Sponsor page.
June 7, 2004

June 2, 2004
  • Rob has finally answered some questions!  Hey, it's only been a little over a month ... Unfortunately, it will probably be like this until October.  This is his BUSIEST time of the year!  Check the "Ask Rob" page for the newest Q & As.
May 29, 2004
  • Rob won the NRA Action Pistol Championship, AKA, The Bianchi Cup, held in Columbia Missouri!  Check Rob's resume page for the details!
  • Rob will be home soon, and he's in a good mood, so he PROMISED he would answer some questions and give you a match recap this coming week ...
May 17, 2004
  • Oh my gosh, he's going to drive me crazy!  :-)  Rob's already got changes to his DMSC equipment categories.  He says "it's refinement".  He hasn't taken anything away, but he added a few new categories and simply "refined" the others.  Check 'em out on the DMSC Equipment / Categories page.
  • Added the DMSC membership application in a PDF file format.  We got some reports of people who could not read and/or print the HTML version.
May 13, 2004
  • It's FINALLY ready!  Rob's DrillMaster Shooting Club™ is available for membership!  All of the information is posted on the new "DrillMaster Club" page.  If you're planning on attending the Saturday (May 15th) DrillMaster "Drill Of The Month" event at Rio Salado Sportsman's Club, please print and complete the membership application and bring it with you to the range.  Kip can process your application there and save you some shipping charges!  The event is considered a match, so  there is a $5.00 match charge that will go directly to Rio Salado Sportsman's Club (RSSC).  All proceeds for each monthly event will directly benefit RSSC.
  • Moved the "Contact Us" and "Cool Links" navigation buttons to the top navigational structure of Rob's site.
  • Added our "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" to the top navigational structure.  Please review these policies and procedures if you haven't done so already.  They're quite interesting reading!
  • Rob and I want to say "Thank You SO MUCH!" to both Tracey Martin and Bill Dailey for their assistance in pulling together the DrillMaster Shooting Club™.  We couldn't have done it all without your help.
May 12, 2004
  • Check out the upcoming LIVE radio media coverage of Rob Leatham on the "News and Updates" page (just above).
May 10, 2004
  • Rob will be holding the first official DrillMaster Shooting Club event at Rio Salado Sportsman's Club on Saturday, May 15th.  Check the Calendar page for more info.
  • Added Todd Jarrett's web page link to Rob's Cool Links page.  Todd's a busy man, too, and we really appreciate him getting back with us!
  • We got the final word back from the lawyers today, so we will be updating the DrillMaster Shooting Club details and posting everything by week's end - WE PROMISE!
  • Oh, Rob WON the 10th Annual 1911 Single Stack Classic!  That means a 10-year sweep, although Rob remembers this year as having the closest competitor scores.  Taran Butler was only 14 points behind Rob, and Rob was very impressed with his (Taran's) performance.  Good shooting, Taran!
May 1, 2004
  • Happy May Day!  Just a quick update to let you know that the release of Rob's DrillMaster Shooting Club™ is nearly ready.  It's currently in the lawyer's hands, so we're just waiting ...  Once we get approval from the legal side, we will release the update and then you'll be able to familiarize yourself with all the details of the club!  Thanks for your patience ...
  • Rob is shooting the 1911 Single Stack Classic as I write this.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he shoots well and takes the title for the 10th straight time!
  • Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to our friend, Greg, who is going through a very difficult time with his terminally-ill mother.   Greg will be helping me complete the on-line store when he's able to get back to work.   We're thinking of you, Greg.
  • We are queuing up your questions and they are waiting for Rob when he returns.  He should have time, soon, to respond.  Do you appreciate the vagueness?  :-)
April 16, 2004
  • Congratulations to Rob's son, Tommy Leatham, for winning the City of Mesa Parks and Recreation Intramural Chess Championship!  Tom also won the "Most Supportive Player" award.  In addition, the Carson Jr. High Chess Club has won the team event for the last three years!  Your Dad couldn't be more proud, Tom!  You're awesome!

April 14, 2004
  • CONGRATULATIONS to Phil and Denielle Strader!  Denielle just gave birth to their first child, Colton Thomas Isaac Strader (whew) at 4:00 PM, April Fool's day (hmmm, coincidence?)
They just sound ecstatic and we're extremely happy for the Strader family!   Phil's already got pictures on his web site, so take a few moments to look at their little wonder on the Shooter's Paradise Site
  • Posted Rob's answers to some Questions Of The Week (last few weeks, actually).
  • Added Dave Sevigny's web site to the Links page.  Sorry for the oversight, Dave.  You're one of Rob's fiercest competitors!
  • Added new pictures of some "rugrats" we know to the Kids That Shoot page.  Daniel, my dear nephew, we're still trying to locate a picture of you shooting ... When we do, we'll post it immediately!
  • Slowly trying to remove the yellow text color from the web site pages.  We've had some visitors report that they cannot read the yellow on their laptop screens.  Hope this helps!
  • Rob and some of the guys shot the next DrillMaster drill in preparation for the release of Rob's DrillMaster Shooting Club™.  We're working hard at finalizing the web site release!  We'll keep you posted with the actual date ...
March 29, 2004
  • We are delaying the release of the On-Line Store to coincide with the release of Rob's DrillMaster Shooting Club™.  The two go hand-in-hand, so we decided to wait on the store.
  • Rob was busy last week filming a video series and he's training all this week, so there probably won't be any input from him until early April.  We've gotten a lot of good questions, but he just hasn't had time to respond.  They're in the queue!
March 19, 2004
  • Added a few new pictures of Rob's son, Robby, to the Family Quarters page (in TGO's museum).  Robby won a gold medal in essay at the Arizona Academic Decathlon competition!  Rob is very proud of his son and all of his achievements.  Sorry, this has absolutely nothing to do with shooting!
  • Added Dominick Pizoli's official score to the DrillMaster Shooting Club™ Bianchi Plate scores.
  • Posted a few answers to the Questions of The Week.
March 12, 2004
  • Updated the Ask Rob page with new questions and answers of the week.
  • Posted new photos of Rob, Dominick and Rob on the All About Rob page.  Thanks for the photos, Dom and Karen!  We got a kick out of them!
  • Added an e-mail confirmation field to the Ask Rob form.  We've had several e-mails returned as undeliverable.  Hopefully, this will help Rob's responses get back to you.
  • Added a new link to Don Golembieski's brand new web site: http://www.kodiakprecision.com
March 8, 2004
March 5, 2004
  • A recap and pictures from the inaugural "Shoot Springfields With Rob" event is posted on Rob's Calendar page.
  • Added a link to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation on the "In Memory" page.  This foundation accepts donations for children of Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.  It's a great cause if you're in a giving mood, or even if you're not!
  • Updates to the navigation structure on the "TGO Museum" and "All About Rob" sub pages.  The March 1st update created some weird "bugs".
  • Look for the answer to the question of the week later this weekend (or Monday).  Rob's been away on business.
March 1, 2004
Feb 23, 2004
  • Added new shooting links to Ben Avery Shooting Facility and Pima Pistol Club.  We completely spaced these out.  Sorry, everyone!
  • Added new pictures and a story to the Kids That Shoot page.
Feb 20, 2004
  • Moved Rob's Calendar to the main page ... it was completely lost under "All About Rob".
  • Enlarged fonts on several of the pages that have a lot of text, hopefully, making the pages easier to read.
  • Added a photo library to the Kids That Shoot page.  We're already getting some really great pictures!
  • Added text to the DrillMaster Shooting Club™ Photo Library.  You're famous now, gentlemen!
  • Due to the numerous requests about Rob's ammunition, we added his
favorite practice and competition loads to the Gun Vault pages.
  • Rob has responded to his favorite "Question(s) of the Week".  Find the postings on the Ask Rob page.
  • Since Rob was at the SHOT Show all week, he didn't make it to the range,
so there's no new article for At The Range.  It's also been a rant-free
week!  He must have been overloaded with the busyness of the schedule.
