TRAIN TO WIN
COMPETITION AND DEFENSIVE TRAINING
Rob began competing in 1978. He won his first US National and IPSC World Shoot titles in 1983. He’s seen the sport change immensely and grow from straight-forward, defensive-based events with stock to slightly-modified pistols to the current status; where there are 8 “pistol” divisions, multi-gun nationals, where speed is often the focus over accuracy, and oddly enough, PCC rifles are at the top of pistol match results. If you want to have an interesting conversation with Rob, bring up the PCC Division.
In 2016, Rob qualified as an official “Senior” of the sport. He has finally reached the point in his career where it’s not easy keeping up with the younger generation of competitors. But his decades of experience both shooting and teaching have created a unique, highly experienced, competent firearms instructor.
Rob has a great eye for detail – as he’s pretty much seen it all. His teaching approach is not traditional, but that’s exactly what makes his classes worthwhile. Rob also instructs other teaching professionals – and many of his methods have been adopted by instructors in the industry.
Rob is available on a limited basis for group competition and defensive training at your range or in the greater Phoenix area. To be notified about upcoming classes, please SUBSCRIBE to Rob’s E-Mail list.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All shooters must be CLASSIFIED “C” Class or above in USPSA, IPSC, or the equivalent level in IDPA, ICORE, etc. to participate in one of Rob’s Competition or Defensive Courses.
