Rob Leatham is a regular guy who grew up loving guns. His family spent many weekends in the Arizona desert camping and shooting together. After high school, Rob started competing in pistol matches. It wasn’t long after that, he began winning National and World-Level events and caught the eye of several sponsors. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Between all the practicing and winning, Rob has also developed a unique and time-tested training system, a system that he is honored to share with our most-elite and dedicated Military and LE Agencies.
Rob is extremely fortunate to have been able to follow his life-long passion of shooting and to work in an industry with such diverse, innovative and committed individuals, entrepreneurs and companies.
SINGLE STACK DOMINATION
Rob’s favorite gun to shoot, by far, is the time-tested, iconic 1911 Single Stack Pistol.
Rob won 16 consecutive Springfield Armory 1911 Single Stack Classic / USPSA SS National Championship Titles
with the mighty 1911 before he was inevitably topped in 2011. #irony
Rob turned 50 that year… but it was not the last time he would win the event. He won 2 years later in 2013 — AND again in 2020 and 2021 at 59 and 60 years old, respectively!
Rob is highly regarded as one of — if not THE — most-winning Practical Pistol Competitor in history. His sheer number of National and World Shooting Trophies make him unique.
Rob’s MAJOR U.S. and World Championship wins in USPSA, IDPA, IPSC, Steel Challenge and the NRA Bianchi Cup combine for a GRAND TOTAL of over 100 major championship titles!
In 2013, Rob became the first USPSA 6-Division Grand Master based on his
National Championship rankings. To date, he is a 7-Division Grand Master, having added Carry Optics to the list.
In 2014, Rob joined Julie Golob as the ONLY (at the time) 6-Division USPSA National
Champions! Rob was also the first Six-Division USPSA Overall National Champion. This was before Carry Optics and PCC were added as legal divisions.

6-DIVISION USPSA NATIONAL CHAMPION
In 2014, Rob won the USPSA Revolver Nationals and became the first overall 6-Division Champion in the history of USPSA. He joined Julie Golob as a USPSA 6-Division Champion!
7-DIVISION USPSA GRAND MASTER – BASED ON MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP PLACEMENTS
Rob received his GM ranking in Revolver Division after finishing 2nd to Jerry Miculek at the 2013 USPSA Revolver National Championship. At this point, he became a 6-Division GM.
In 2016, Rob won the USPSA Area-2 Carry Optics Division, giving him his 7-Division GM Classification.
